LOWDERMILK PARK/BEACH NAPLES BEACHES VANDERBILT BEACH DELNOR-WIGGINS PASS STATE RECREATION AREA/BEACH CLAM PASS PARK/BEACH LELY BAREFOOT BEACH The goal on this course is to give the student the information to understand and correctly rig up a inflatable 4/5 line kite on a safe scenario; to understand and determine the wind direction according the beach where he will be. Correctly launch and land the right size power kite with assistance and to be able to do body dragging . The ability and coordination of the student will improved. This process will be faster or slower depending on the weather conditions during the course as well as the student coordination skills. Oriented for people 18 to 50 + year old. Underage people with parent’s approval and supervision. Water skills will be required as for good swimming and being comfortable with the ocean and waves. One of our IKO certified instructors will take you on this 3 hours course. Oriented to people that have never done any Kiteflying or Kiteboarding before, we will give the correct instruction as to understand the sport, know the safety basics of Kiteboarding, gear understanding, wind and weather understanding, trainer kite flying, power kite flying, land and water exercises with the kite .
We do not supply wet suits or booties, this is for hygiene reasons

today kiteboarding is a very popular sport and there are many who want to learn,at the same time there are many who want to teach but that does not mean they should, there are plenty of people who think they can teach kiteboarding and maybe they even have a surf shop or kite shop but that does not mean they are quilified (certified) instrutors (no )actually to be certified you go to a school to learn how to instruct and you do hours in a class room so before you have your money taken away beshore to ask some questions to your instructor

Q. do I really need a certified qualified instructor?
A, Yes, a certified instructor can save you a lot of time,
frustration and possibly injury/damaged equipment in learning kiteboarding.
A, no, unqualified person will put you on a kite without giving proper instruction which will lead to wasting time, struggling and eventually injury,
A, no, in fact a qualified instructor would not only recommend you do not buy equipment but the equipment should be included in the lesson price
A, yes you need to ask, and ask for proof
A, it is good to know how long they have been teaching

A, a certified instructor always has a plan given by his organization,
A, this is and should be the goal of all certified instructors
A, helmet, floatation device, harness proper size, beginners kite, bar with all safety release Cost is an important consideration but not THE most important
consideration. Proper effective instruction can save you a lot of time,
frustration and possibly injury/damaged equipment in learning kiteboarding. Quality instruction is a good thing.
